The measures taken by US President Donald Trump against Iran and the Revolutionary Guards could attract supporters from around the world, according the Trump’s former advisor Walid Fares.
Fares said that the bigger challenge for Trump regarding the nuclear deal will not be from inside the US, but from Europe, noting that Europe has large economic interests through the deal.
He also added that Iran can in turn respond to these pressures in many countries in the world, including Lebanon where they have Hezbollah, pointing out that if Hezbollah wages a war on Israel, it will not be in its best interest at a time when the sanctions against it is multiplying.
