Geagea from Melbourne: Resignation of LF ministers from Cabinet is possible

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea met on Monday a delegation from the Future Movement in Melbourne, Australia.

Geagea asserted that the parliamentary elections will take place on their due times, calling on the expatriates to vote because “each vote counts.”

He also noted that the resignation of Lebanese Forces ministers from the Cabinet is “possible,” in reference to rumors circulating that three LF ministers would resign from Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s government.

Geagea added that the resignation would take place in case of resumption of relations with the Syrian President Bachar Assad’s regime and in case of any continued attempts to pass suspicious tenders."
