Secretary of the Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan declared that the cabinet referred a draft law pertaining to opening an extraordinary credit to fund the biometric card, but the deputies were not supportive of the suggestion few days after passing the budget.
Following the meeting of Finance and Budget Committee, Kanaan stressed that the committee does not approach the issue of the biometric card from an obstructive perspective, noting that the session will be held in the presence of representatives from the Finance Ministry in order to finalize the issue and answer to all the deputies’ questions and concerns.
