REPORT: Cabinet holds session at Grand Serail
A cabinet session was held on Thursday at the Grand Serail under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

During the session, the Cabinet approved the production of electricity through in the northern district of Akkar.

For his part, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouq said that a debate took place inside the session over the newly appointed Lebanese ambassador to Syria.

“Some Lebanese Forces ministers objected the submission of the ambassador’s credentials to Damascus, suggesting postponing this matter until a solution would be reached between the Arab League of Nations and Syria,” he added.

On another note, PM Hariri talked prior to session about his visit to Saudi Arabia, adding that the kingdom is “very keen on Lebanon’s stability and everything that is circulating in the media is inaccurate.”
