Ihsanoglu: We fear that Lebanon slides into civil war
Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu expressed on Sunday his fear regarding Lebanon going towards a civil war.       

Ihsanoglu noted, after meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in Jeddah, Lebanon has experienced civil war for long years and this experience will prevent it from once again heading down that path.

Ihsanoglu stressed the importance that all Lebanese parties should commit to Lebanon’s higher interest which is peaceful coexistence between its people, pointing that any armed fighting pose danger to the country's future.
