Economic committees: No economy without stability

The economic committees called on Monday for showing awareness and strive in order to unite the Lebanese people, since stability can only be achieved by changing the political speech, stressing that there will be no economy without stability.

In the final statement after the meeting held in Phoenicia Hotel, the committees warned against the risks endangering the entire economic situation, not only tourism, calling on all political parties to participate in the dialogue and separate politics from the citizen’s life.

The committees also stressed that the dialogue in the only path to defuse the fighting between the Lebanese, demanding to revive the socio-economic council. They hoped that officials assume their responsibilities and calm and stability will be restored in the country.
