Launch of “Green project to Protect Lebanon’s Nature”

In coordination with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, a green project aiming at protecting Lebanon’s environment was launched on Tuesday, following a meeting held between Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi and Middle East Airlines’ Chairman-Director General Mohammad El-Hout.

Aridi explained in his speech that the project has many positive sides, praising the professionalism of MEA Company. He stressed that Lebanon will remain a center that attracts the most important economic projects.

Commenting on whether the cabinet approved the renewal of the company’s exclusivity, Aridi noted that the request has not been yet presented to the cabinet.
