Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that he will call for a legislative session when approved draft laws are available.
Following Wednesday’s deputies gathering, the MPs cited Berri as saying that the unity of the national position and the Lebanese consensus led toward an international agreement regarding Lebanon and its stability.
They added that Berri expects a cabinet session to convene during the upcoming week, and a political statement will be issued to express the agreement among the political components of the government and to clarify several items mentioned in the ministerial statement.
