Gemayel meets with Rai and delegation from the Islamic Group in Bekfayya

The Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai met with head of Kataeb party Amin Gemayel, and they discussed the latest developments.

Furthermore, Gemayel met with a delegation of Islamic Group, in the presence of MP Fadi al-Haber and the head of the Media Council of Kataeb Party Georges Yazbek., in his residence in Bekfayya.

Chairman of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Group, Sheikh Azzam Ayoubi said that the meeting highlighted the critical situations in Lebanon and means to get over these political divisions in the country.

Commenting on Nasrallah’s call for a constituent assembly, Ayoubi noted that this subject needs explanation from the party that proposed it.
