MPs Hekmat Dib and Neemtallah Abi Naser raised the issue of the decision issued by Shura Council on May 07, 2003, pertaining to revoking the citizenship of those who illegally obtained it, asking the cabinet, in particular Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq, on the reasons behind the failure to follw up on implementing said decision.
After the passing of 50 days without receiving an answer, the deputies called on Speaker Nabih Berri to turn the matter into an interrogation and to raise the issue during the upcoming cabinet session.
