REPORT: Baabda sources to LBCI: Promotion decrees can be issued only all at once

Baabda sources asserted to LBCI on Wednesday that the promotion decrees can be issued only all at once.

The same sources added that some of them were signed, noting however that the army promotion decree was not signed by Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil “which hinders all other promotions.”

This as the sources revealed that the Minister of Finance has no power to supervise the work of his fellow ministers, according to the law issued by the State Shura Council in 1991.
