First investigative judge postponed the hearing session of Marcel Ghanem until February 02, 2018, in order to issue a final decision regarding the formal pleas presented, Ghanem’s lawyer MP Boutros Harb said on Thursday.
Following the session at the justice palace in Baabda, Harb noted that today’s events are the normal procedures and are what should have happened before.
For his part, Marcel Ghanem expressed gratitude to all those who gathered outside the Justice Palace, vowing to all the Lebanese people that he will continue to protect the truth and the free words.
“The battle will continue and there will be no compromise in the battle to protect freedoms in Lebanon,” he added.
