REPORT: Mass for World Peace Day held in Bkerke

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai presided Sunday's mass service in Bkerke on the occasion of the World Peace Day.

The mass held in the presence of families of Lebanese army soldiers who were kidnapped and executed during the incidents that took place in the border town of Arsal in 2014.

The family of Raya al-Chidiac, the young woman who was killed in the northern town of Miziara in 2017 attended also the mass.

Patriarch Rai gave honorary shields for the families of the martyrs on the occasion of the year of martyrdom and martyrs.
