REPORT: Parents' Committees say President Aoun vowed to find solutions before January 31

The Unions of Parents' Committees at Private Schools declared on Saturday that President Michel Aoun has promised them to find solutions for the increase of tuition fees before January 31.

The unions’ comments were made after meeting with President Michel Aoun whereby they vowed not to take any escalatory measures before the end of the month.

Members of the unions said that President Aoun told them that he agreed with Prime Minister Saad Hariri to hold an extraordinary Cabinet session to study solutions for the increase of tuition fees.
