Fire extinguished in Nejmeh Square in Sidon
The state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday that a fire broke out at midnight in the southern city of Sidon.
The agency added that the blaze erupted in the electricity room of a building that includes several businesses in the Nejmeh Square in Sidon.
Several people fainted due to smoke inhalation.
This as Sidon municipality firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire, while Red Cross members worked on treating those who fainted.
