The Supreme Defense Council stressed that the Israeli concrete wall along the border, if built, will be considered as an attack against Lebanon’s sovereignty and a violation of the UN resolution 1701.
In a statement issued following the meeting held at Baabda presidential palace, the council noted that instructions were sent out in order to fight any attempt by Israel to build the wall, adding that action will continue to be taken on all levels in order to confront the Israeli claims regarding the block 9.
