The employees at the Cooperative of State Employees staged an open-ended sit-in and refused to complete any transaction to the citizens, in protest against the authorities’ failure to implement to pay scale.
Similarly, the employees at several governmental hospitals across the Lebanese regions held a strike, and refused to admit patients, except for the emergency cases.
