REPORT: Saudi envoy meets with President Aoun, PM Hariri

President Michel Aoun met on Monday with Saudi envoy Nizar al-Alawla at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Information reportedly said that al-Alawla has conveyed to Aoun a message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud confirming support to Lebanon and its stability, stressing that the relations between the two countries are at their best.

The envoy also said to Aoun that he will convey to Prime Minister Saad Hariri an invitation to visit the kingdom.

For his part, Aoun welcomed the Saudi envoy and asserted to him that Lebanon wishes to have the best relations with the kingdom.

The Saudi envoy then held talks with Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Following the meeting, Hariri told reporters that the talks were excellent, adding that he will visist the Saudi kingdom as soon as possible.
