During the fifth session held by the ministerial committee tasked with discussing the 2018 budget draft law, the budgets of 5 ministries were finalized, with a 20% reduction and above applied.
The members of the committee called on Education and Social Affairs Ministers to attend the 6th meeting, scheduled to be held on Thursday to discuss the budget of their respective ministries.
Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil urged all parties to wait for the outcome of discussions to determine the final figures, denying that the budget include large deficit figures.
