Association of Muslim Scholars: Sheikh’s murder an abuse to religious symbols

The Association of Muslim Scholars called on Sunday on PM Najib Mikati to take effective measures in the case of the killing of Sheikh Ahmad Abdel Wahed and his companions, noting that this crime is an abuse to the religious symbols. They also demanded that the criminals will be tried before the judicial council.

The meeting of the Association of Muslim Scholars called on the Army Leadership to instruct their officers to restraint and not to use bullets against citizens.
