Mufti Derian highlights efforts deployed by KSA, UAE in Lebanon

Grand Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian expressed on Friday its appreciation for Saudi Arabia and UAE’s roles, wise leaderships and for standing beside Lebanon and its people.

“Lebanon remains an independent Arab country that cooperates with his Arab bothers,” Mufti Derian said during a meeting with USE ambassador to Lebanon Hamad al-Shamisi, Saudi Chargé d’Affaires Walid al-Boukhari and Minister of Minister of State for Refugees Affairs Mouin al-Merhebi.

The Mufti also highlighted the efforts deployed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in consolidating Lebanon’s stability and security.
