Tripoli municipal teams, in cooperation with teams from Lavajet Company for solid waste collection and city cleaning services of the northern city, started Saturday morning, with the help of municipal police forces, to remove all posters and banners from the streets, that violate the law and without any discrimination between parties.

This move came upon the decision issued by Tripoli Mayor Ahmad Qamareddine, in a bid to maintain clean streets and public spaces. The decision also comes in accordance with the provisions of the decree number 1302 published in the Official Gazette, issue (4) dated on 22/01/2015, and in application of the law number 44 issued on 17/06/2017, as well as the letter number 948/A/2018sent by Governor of North Lebanon on 13/03/2018, under the penalty of legal measures against the violators.
