REPORT: Central Inspection Department says it is independent authority

The Central Inspection Department commented on Monday on statement circulated on social media platforms over its work.

In a statement issued in this regard, the department said that the Central Inspection Department is an “independent” supervisory authority that does not receive any instructions from anyone.

“The president, speaker and prime minister never interfered with the work of the Central Inspection Department,” the statement added.
