Public strike, burning tires in Ain al-Hilweh camp

Ain al-Hilweh camp witnessed on Tuesday a state of caution after yesterday’s incidents, amid public strike and burning tires across the camp, awaiting the result of the completion of ongoing Lebanese-Palestinian measures.

In this context, General Munir Maqdah told LBCI that the situation has become calm after midnight following the intervention of the camp’s committees, noting that there is no decision to confront the army.

Yesterday’s clashes between the camp’s residents and the army resulted in the killing of one Palestinian national Khaled Mohammad Youssef and the injury of four others.
