REPORT: Minister Mashnouq says to tighten procedures against electoral bribes

Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq presided on Thursday over an extraordinary meeting for the Central Internal Security Council to discuss the security plan that will be set for the upcoming parliamentary polls and the coordination with the various security apparatuses.

Mashnouq gave his directives to heads of security apparatuses to tighten the security procedures ahead and during the polls, mainly the fighting of bribes and refereeing those involved in this felony to the concerned courts.

The participants in the meeting also tackled the security of the voting stations and the traffic plan.
