Fire at Istanbul hospital, no casualties - CNN Turk
A fire broke out at a hospital in Istanbul on Thursday and engulfed several floors of the multi-story building, but local broadcaster CNN Turk quoted firefighters as saying it had been brought under control with no casualties.
 
Live television footage showed the fire broke out on the roof of the hospital and had spread quickly down the exterior cladding of the building.
 
Local municipality chief Hasan Tahsin Usta told another broadcaster, TRT, that patients had been evacuated from the Gaziosmanpasa Taksim Educational and Research Hospital.
