Candidate for the Maronite seat in the Chouf – Aley electoral district, Dr. Farid al-Boustany stressed his support for the era, noting that he was qualified to be on the Free Patriotic Movement’s list.
“I did not pay a dime to be on the FPM’s list, and I was treated like the other candidates,” he stressed.
In an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said show, he noted that reconciliation is a slogan, pointing out that those who were at war are now in the same list.
Al-Boustany vowed to create jobs in the fields of technology, agriculture and tourism in the region, which will contribute to the Lebanese youth’s return progressively.
Speaking of development projects, he stated that they target all the residents of the Chouf, adding however that the region needs more hospitals and fiber optics.
