Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed that the difference between Cedre conference and the conferences that preceded it is that there is focus on projects that are open for investments.
In a speech he delivered during the conference’s second session, Hariri said that some of the loans remain at the parliament, adding that a parliamentary session will be held to make sure that all this strategy is authenticated.
The prime minister stressed the need that Lebanon reaches economic stability, calling on the International Community to assume its responsibility towards Lebanon and the region.
“The only way to face the challenges is to increase growth and create jobs, since unemployment in Lebanon is nearing 70%,” he said.
