International Academy for Marine Sciences inaugurated in Jounieh
 An International Academy for Marine sciences was inaugurated in the coastal city of Jounieh.
 
The academy is considered the first of its kind in Lebanon and in the entire Middle East and North Africa region.
 
The main goal of the academy is to boost the operational capacities of maritime transportation, create job opportunities for the Lebanese people and attract technical tourism for the country.
