Prime Minister Saad Hariri commented on the troubled regional situation during the cabinet session held on Thursday, saying that “we have been working on liberating Lebanon from any issues that could result from the regional developments.”
Hariri also tackled the outcome of Cedre 1 conference, noting that “the conference was successful and it showed the confidence of the International Community in Lebanon, as a result of the latest achievements of the current cabinet.”
The prime minister also discussed the proposed the reforms, stressing that they will serve the interests of the Lebanon and facilitate the projects that will be implemented upon approval and that are necessary to complete the process of fighting corruption and waste.
Hariri called on the politicians represented at the cabinet to present their proposals for all reforms they deem necessary to fight corruption and waste.
“We are partners in this nation,” he stated.
