A dispute soon turned into a shooting in the region of Barbir between a candidate for the parliamentary elections identified as Rajaa al-Zouhairi and supporters of the Future Movement.

The dispute started when FM supporters asked al-Zouhairi to leave the region while he was carrying out an electoral tour.

The dispute turned into a shooting and the Lebanese army interfered to help al-Zouhairi to get out of one of the houses where he was hidden.
