Future bloc: Poor government performance opens door to chaos
The Future bloc tackled the security preparations against the assassination of the bloc’s head MP Fouad Siniora as well as a number of political and religious officials, noting that continuing to block the communications makes the government a partner in covering potential criminal acts.

The bloc considered, in a statement released after weekly meeting, that the situation in the country has been deteriorating, adding that the government’s poor performance opens the door to chaos.

The Future bloc held the FPM, especially Energy Minister Gebran Bassil, responsible for the electricity crisis and the power shortages in the country.

Commenting on the security incidents witnessed by Naher al-Bared and Ain al-Hilweh camps, the Future bloc confirmed its attachment to the relations between the Lebanese and the Palestinians, stressing that it recognizes and supports the army’s role. The bloc pointed that the Syrian regime aims at dragging the camps into conflicts.
