REPORT: In Batroun, former allies compete over preferential vote

The allies of 2005 and 2009 separated in 2018, in North Lebanese’s third electoral district, particularly in Batroun.

The Lebanese Forces and the Kataeb party on one list are competing over the preferential vote; against the alliance of MP Boutros Harb, the Marada Movement and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP).

In turn, the Marada Movement separated from its previous alliance with Gebran Bassil, who is running today side by side with the Future Movement.
