Cosette Mubarak is a Lebanese citizen from the Keserwan town of Rayfoun, she discovered that she is registered to vote in France, but she has never been to the European country before.

In the details, when Cosette went to the town’s Mokhtar to request required documents to issue a passport for her mother, she discovered after speaking with the Mokhtar, that she was registered to vote in France.

And in fact, after checking the voting lists, she found out that a note was added next to her name (Cosette Antoine Moubarak) saying that she is set to vote in France.

The circumstances behind the situation remain unclear, but Cosette rushed and contacted the Interior Ministry to resolve her situation so that she will be allowed to vote on May 6. She received promises that the issue will be taken care of.
