Riyad al-Assaad to LBCI: My conflict is neither with AMAL Movement nor with Berri

Candidate Riyad al-Assaad who is running for the Shiite seat in south Lebanon second electoral district said on Sunday that he refuses the whole political system governing the country.

Al-Assaad’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he blamed all politicians for the current situation in Lebanon.

He called for a state that preserves the rights of the citizen and the coexistence, and that provides for all the needs of the citizens.

He concluded by saying that his conflict is neither with the AMAL Movement nor with Speaker Nabih Berri.
