REPORT: How will the Sunni and Shiite votes be directed in Batroun?

The Marada Movement and the Free Patriotic Movement separated in the district of Batroun for this year’s election, which caused the distribution of the Shiite votes.

In Batroun district, there are around 1038 registered Shiite voters and in the district of Koura, there are 1184.

The Amal Movement votes will be directed in both districts to the Marada Movement, hinting at granting the presidential vote to Boutros Harb and Fayez Ghosn. However, the Hezbollah votes will be distributed between two lists.

For his part, PM Hariri called on the Sunnis supporters in Batroun to vote for Bassil.
