REPORT: Minister Abi Khalil: State burdened with $27 billion due to wrong decisions

Minister of Energy Cesar Abi Khalil said on Friday that the Lebanese state had been burdened with $27 billion due to wrong decisions and not establishing plants.

Abi Khalil’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he showcased the conditions for the project of transferring LNG liquefied natural gas to Lebanon.
He also added that the current conditions allow several companies to win the bids.

The Minister's words came during a press conference during which he explained the technical terms of transferring LNG liquefied natural gas to Lebanon.

"We support the project of building the state, as well as implementing laws," he concluded by saying.
