REPORT: Aoun says post-elections period to be dedicated to fight corruption

President Michel Aoun said on Friday that the International community must support the Lebanese administration in dissociating Lebanon from regional conflicts.

Aoun’s comments were made during a meeting with the head of the French Foreign Ministry’s North Africa and Middle East department, Jerome Bonnafont.

Aoun asserted to his guest that the post-elections period will witness the formation of a new national unity government which will carry out reforms, combat corruption and implement an economic plan.
