The “Kataeb” bloc chief MP Samy Gemayel stated Thursday that Lebanon stands before a new stage after the elections and the political factions must cooperate to serve the country’s interest, announcing that the bloc will give Saad Hariri a chance, “but they will be evaluating performance and holding anyone accountable.”
Speaking after his bloc’s meeting with President Michel Aoun within the framework of the parliamentary consultations conducted to appoint a new PM, Gemayel answered a question on whether they were a part of any settlement, saying: “No, we did not enter into any settlement.”
