MP Hikmat Dib to LBCI: FPM represents 55% of Christians, must be represented in Cabinet accordingly
MP Hikmat Dib said on Saturday that the Free Patriotic Movement represents 55% of the Lebanese Christians, and that according to a recent study.
Dib’s comments were made during an interview with LBCI Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that each political party has to be represented in the government as per its popular size.
“The president’s share of the ministries is a norm,” he added.
As for the naturalization decree, Dib said that the humanitarian situation is the criteria that was adopted in the said decree, adding that granting 200 people the Lebanese nationality does not change the demographic situation of the country.
