REPORT: Unsuccessful candidates challenge results of May’s parliamentary elections
Twenty-one candidates who failed in the parliamentary elections that took place on May 6 submitted on Monday morning challenges to the Constitutional Council to dispute the elections’ results.

The candidates filed their challenges through their attorney Said Malek.

The lawyer stressed that their goal is to show the lack of credibility of these elections and re-holding them with integrity.

He also noted that the council has accepted the challenge in form.

This as former Justice minister and members of the list that he formed for the parliamentary elections headed to the council also to challenge the results of the polls.
