Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri stressed Monday that the Lebanese government has asked during the conferences held in Brussels for the contribution of the international community to the support of the national economy, especially the communities hosting Syrian refugees.
“In this regard, we placed several priorities, chief among which the infrastructure investment program, which was launched at CEDRE conference, as well as providing the youth with education opportunities and technical training,” he added.
During a ceremony held to launch the National Strategic Framework for Education in Lebanon, Hariri stated that the strategy being launched focuses mainly on ensuring high quality education and technical and vocational training to the youth, taking into consideration the requirements of the market in order to help the private sector ensure specialized and trained manpower.
He noted that the next phase is to implement the infrastructure investment program, which includes more than 280 projects distributed among all the sectors and creates thousands of jobs, stressing the need to have the specialized human cadre capable of managing and implementing these projects.
