“National Bloc” says Maarab agreement a failed attempt to eliminate some parties

The “National Bloc” parliamentary bloc called for hastening the formation of a national cabinet that does not exclude any party, renewing his demand to be represented by two ministries.

MP Tony Frangieh, who read the bloc’s statement following the meeting in Bnache, noted that “the Maarab agreement affected the constitution and the institutions,” stating that it constitutes a failed attempt for exclusion and protects the concept of quotas, which was apparent in the recent appointments.
