Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri met Wednesday at Beit al-Wasat with ambassadors from the International Support Group for Lebanon, including ambassadors and representatives for France, China, Russia, Germany, Italy, Britain, US, EU, the Arab League and the UN Special Coordinator to Lebanon Pernille Dahler Kardel.
The meeting focused on the general situation and matters related to the reforms that the new cabinet will be implementing during the upcoming period.
Hariri had also met with the US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard and discussed with her the general situation and bilateral ties.
Separately, the PM-designate received the Director General of the Internal Security Forces Maj. Gen. Imad Osman, and discussed with him the security situation in the country. Osman briefed Hariri on the missions conducted by the ISF to preserve the citizens’ safety and to fight crimes.
