Joint Parliamentary Committee approved on Thursday a draft law for protecting the whistle-blowers and another draft law for solid waste, and that after MPs Paula Yaacoubian, Samy Gemayel and Elias Hankach withdrew from the session due to a disagreement over the solid waste crisis.
Following the session, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi, declared that they were able to put the cornerstone to enact a law for the solid waste, noting that this law “is a message to the municipalities to start applying it at once.”
