Democratic Gathering bloc presented on Monday to the parliament a draft law concerning acquisition of nationality.
MP Hady Abou Al Hassan said in a statement that they presented this draft law after the debates caused by the recent nationality decree and in order to inquire justice and equality between Lebanese citizens.
He added that they seek to modernize the laws related to nationality, which remain connected to a decision made during the mandate, stressing the need to grant the Lebanese women their rights in this regard.
