Berri keen on sustaining friendship with Aoun
Speaker Nabih Berri stressed on Wednesday that he is keen on sustaining friendship with the head of change and Reform bloc, MP Michel Aoun, confirming that he has confidence in the “General’s wisdom and political positions”.           

Following Wednesday’s parliamentary meeting, Berri said that he is content with the constitutional path to follow through the issue of EDL contract workers.       

The deputies said that Berri is keen on consolidating national unity, adding that he was not satisfied with the comments claiming that the law granting tenure to EDL contract workers is targeting the Christians.
