Cabinet formation focus of Jumblatt-Berri meeting

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt called on Monday for the swift formation of a new Cabinet.

Jumblatt’s comments were made after meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el-Tineh, accompanied by his son MP Taymour Jumblatt and former Minister Ghazi al-Aridi.

“We must end the Cabinet’s impasse because the economic situation of the country is unbearable,” he concluded by saying.
