Strong Republic delegation visits State Shura Council
A delegation from the "Strong Republic" bloc visited on Thursday the State Shura Council to reiterate calls for the suspension of the naturalization decree.
The delegation included MPs Fadi Saad, Joseph Ishac and Georges Okais.
Following the meeting, MP Okais said that they stressed that the visit comes to complete the challenge of the naturalization that was submitted in June.
"We have not yet been informed of any decision to suspend the implementation of the decree," he said.
He also added that they submit the suspension of the decree’s implementation in writing.
