Head of the Constitutional Council Issam Sleiman discussed on Monday with President Michel Aoun the measures taken to consolidate the role of this council on both the Arab and international levels, through active participation in conferences, including that of the Constitutional Court in Spain.
According to a statement issued by the Council, Sleiman briefed President Aoun on the details of the international conference scheduled for late September in Marrakesh, during which he will make an intervention on the nature of electoral conflicts.
